Paragliding

Oludeniz
is one of the best places in Europe for paragliding hence in the
last ten years the area became number one for paragliders from all
over the world. Paragliders from all nations come to Oludeniz for
some of their best flights of life time- with turquoise blue
waters, white strechs of beaches, several take off points at
different heights and locations makes Oludeniz the ideal place for
both novice and experienced pilot
It is
fair to say that paragliding in Oludeniz became as famous as
Oludeniz and especially with the annual Oludeniz Air Games
Festival held in October every year in Oludeniz, this thrilling
sport is sure to be tried and learned.
Diving you
can swim and want to discover the depths of the cleanest part of
the, mediterranean, you
can join the scuba diving tours in Fethiye, which will take you to
the magic of the depths with the staff all licenced and
experienced (BSAC, CMAS, PADI, DIWA, SSI, IDC courses available!).
During this tour, -if you are lucky- you have the chance to see
the dolphins and even the sea turtles passing by. But the common
thing is to hand-feed the fish! While doing all these, don't
forget to smile at the cameras taking your pictures! A great
feeling to see the mediterranean also under the sea. And another
important thing is, to see the historical wealth of Fethiye Gulf
also under the sea Mountain
Biking
  One
of the best ways way to discover the Turkish countryside and
Turkey`s Turquoise Coast is on a bike.
Our base for biking holidays is Black Tree Village - an hour of
drive from Oludeniz. Black Tree situated 1000 metres above sea
level is has ideal climate and trails for mountainbiking or just
simply cycling
 Trekking
 Walking
on nomad trails and ancient Lycian paths is best way to see flora
richness of Fethiye. Lycian Way starts from Babadað in Ovacýk
Village. You just need usual soft—walking material with you.
Every hundred meter special boards will show you the right
direction and give basic information about the area. Little
mountain villages will be on the way, to meet you with their
friendly people, even semi—nomads. You can try this year the
path from Fethiye to Kas and see Faralya Village, Pýnara—Letoon—Xanthos
ancient cities on the way and next year from Fethiye to Marmaris
to see Caunos ancient city, Turtle’s beach, etc… Spectacular
views will highlight your holiday on the “Lycian Way”. Rafting
If you can swim, (not so necessary actually!) and if your
heart is strong enough, if you are not pregnant :) , and if you
don't have asthma, I would suggest you a White Water Rafting tour
on Dalaman River which is only 90 minutes to Fethiye. Don't miss
this tour, if you want to fight with the strong bubbles, paddling
down the river (sometimes falling and capsizing!), and if you
don't mind getting wet. The distance is 12 km. and the lunch is
given on the shore, nearly midway. If
you are brave enough, you must choose the inflatable kayaks for
two, and if you are not, you'll travel on a big raft with a guide.
The tour is completely safe, Noone injured (as yet!). Don't forget
to smile to the cameras on the hardest rapids with the helmets,
life jackets, and the paddles in your hands.
Windsurfing A
favourite pasttime in Calis beach in Fethiye. Tuition is available
from beginner to advanced level. On the eastern shores of Sovalye
island even the most inexperienced can taste the magic of sea
while on the western shores the more experienced will be enjoyable
challanged by the large waves coming in from the open sea.
Horse
Riding
  Turkey
is an ideal place for horseback riding. Love for horses has always
been a part of Turkish culture. In the country’s history, places
like Cappadocia were named the Country of Horse. Horseback riding
around Oludeniz, Hisaronu and Kaya Village can be enjoyed along
the little pathways surrounded by valleys and a land dotted with
olive groves and ancient sites, way up into the rough mountains
with breathtaking view. There are unguided and guided trails,
instruction for the less experienced and combinations of sun, sea
and riding for more leisurely holidays, swim in the clear blue
waters and dry at an abandoned beach. Either with an easy ride on
a willing horse or with a frenetic gallop through endless green
plains, ride around quite lakes or trod on follow beaten paths Sailing
The azure waters of the Mediterranean, Aegean, Marmara and Black Sea
surround Turkey to the south, west and north, making a treasure
chest of coves, inlets, bays and beaches in which yachtsmen can
choose a different and private anchorage each night.
The
sailing paradise of Turkey is also home to the Mavi Yolculuk, or
Blue Voyage, an idyllic cruise which travels to the private beach of
Cleopatra, the eternal fires of Mount Olimpos and the remains of
thousands of ancient civilisations. A yachting and sailing holiday
around the Turkish coasts offers travelers an easy and convenient
way to enjoy the region’s spectacular scenery and ancient historic
sites without the hassle of deciphering ferry schedules and changing
hotel rooms—you get on the gulet, you unpack once, and you’re
transported to a world of whitewashed villages, sandy beaches, and
lost cities surrounded by very blue sea. The gulet—your floating
hotel—goes with you, providing accomodations and food, attentive
service, and a familiar retreat to return to after a day of touring
or just kicking back in the Turkish sun. Sailing in Turkey also
allows visitors to experience the hospitality of the people in the
coastal villages and towns. The tempered winds blowing from west and
northwest make the long summers ideal for yachting, and seem to
encourage an appreciation of nature. From some of the turquoise
coast's unspoilt and sheltered bays you can see mountain peaks
rising to almost 3000 meters above sea levelWaterskiing Waterskiing
facilitiesare widely available. There is a water sports school in
the lagoon with proper water ski boats and experienced waterskiing
instructors. Oludeniz is also excellent for snorkelling, fishing
and spear fishing.
Parasailing
The most relaxing of all the watersports. Let the wing
and boat do all the work as you glide through the air. A truly
wonderful experience, offering a bird’s-eye view of the
surrounding area . Jeep
Safari
If
the thing above didn't make you swet enough, I suggest you a Jeep
Safari Tour in Fethiye. Only some of the things what you can face
during the tour are; a flat tire, stuck in mud, engine stop while
passing a river, etc... Approximately 20 jeeps will be in your
convoy, and the speed limit is 70 km/h. To make you feel in safe,
there are driver-guides and first aid staffs in the convoy. One
leading the tour, second at the end, and rest of them will be in
the convoy, seperate places. I don't want to tell you the route,
since it will be just a surprise for you as it is an adventure
